Government is not likely to make any major decisions soon, when it comes to the future of the country’s sugar industry.A recently completed report of a Commission of Inquiry (CoI) into the Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo), is currently being assessed by the Cabinet of Ministers. Grinding operations for the first crop will commence at the end of January.
